Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA): Statewide Violence Prevention Plan 2020-2024
ICJIA is a state agency that works towards improving the administration of criminal justice in Illinois. Primarily, the agency focuses on evaluating and proposing policies, programs, and legislation that targets critical issues within the criminal justice system. A statewide violence prevention plan, funded by ICJIA and led by Dr. Rachel Garthe from the College of Social Work, was created to promote strategies to stop violence and promote safety across state, municipal and community based agencies.
The goal of this project was to assist in disseminating information from this prevention plan into a 2-page data booklet while improving the readability and visuals of the infographics.
